Jose Mourinho’s daughter Matilde takes to Instagram to show Manchester United boss has always been a diver

MATILDE MOURINHO has posted a throwback snap of her father Jose – proving he’s always been a bit of a diver.

The 21-year-old shared an image of her alongside her dad and her younger brother Jose Jr, as the three of them practised jumping into a pool.

In the photo, taken in 2004, the Manchester United boss is pictured with a grin on his face – clearly a treasured memory for both the former Champions League winner and his daughter.

Mourinho responded to the picture with a love heart, showing that the often stern coach has a soft side when it comes to his family.

This isn’t the first time Matilde has taken to Instagram to show apreication for her dad.

In January she posted a heart warming photo of Jose and wished him a happy birthday – the manager was seen holding his two kids in his arms as babies.

She said “Happy Birthday to the best dad there is! lots of love”.

The posts have shown a different side to Mourinho away from football, although his role at Old Trafford has recently been called into question.

After United crashed out of the Champions League round of 16 after a 2-1 defeat at home to Sevilla, Mourinho went on a 12 minute rant defending his legacy as coach.

Despite United being far away from winning the Premier League title they are still likely to finish runners up and be in a good position to challange next season, yet some fans have questioned this seasons perfomance after the club’s spending in the summer.
