Arsenal fans given free fur hat ahead of Europa League quarter-final clash with CSKA Moscow

ARSENAL fans will all receive a free FUR HAT ahead of their Europa League quarter-final against CSKA Moscow.

About 500 supporters will be in the away end although over 100 of them will be from Arsenal‘s Russian supporters club.

Yet the Russian football federation have wanted to give the club’s supporters a gift as they enter the stadium.

They will get a traditional hat from CSKA‘s academy players.

Each hat with be inscribed: “Russian Warm Welcome” and it is part of the federation’s “Gentlefan” campaign.

Manchester United’s 1000 supporters all received a Russian raincoat before their team’s 4-1 win earlier in the season.

Many Arsenal fans have not travelled due to fears over crowd problems.

But the Russians have insisted there will be a massive police presence and there will not be any trouble.

A CSKA spokesman said: “We want the Arsenal fans to feel welcome.”

Arsenal take on CSKA Moscow on Thursday night, leading 4-1 from the first-leg at the Emirates.
